How do I report a death and make a claim?
Call 078 400 4339 or visit your nearest office within 1 day of the death. Bring a certified death certificate and IDs of the deceased and claimant. We will coordinate all funeral arrangements from there.
Which office should I contact?
Contact whichever office is nearest to you. All offices can process enquiries, new memberships, and claims regardless of where the funeral will take place.
Can I join over the phone?
You can start the process by phone, but you will need to visit an office to submit your certified ID copy and pay the joining fee. Call 047 050 0384 to begin.
Do you offer repatriation services?
Yes. If a family member passes away in another province, we can arrange repatriation to the Eastern Cape for burial. Contact us to discuss your situation.
